Nested Family Services was grown from the heart and my hope is that you feel that when we work together! My deep commitment to children and families began as a teenager when my six-week-old niece was diagnosed with Shaken Baby Syndrome. I grew up quickly as an Auntie of a child with disabilities, but I truly believe she was the first influence on my heart’s true direction- supporting families with very young children.

I obtained masters degrees in both Child Development and Social Work. I have five years of experience as an infant and toddler teacher and nine years experience as a Behavior Specialist, helping parents of 0-5 year olds understand their child’s behavior and create plans to improve it. My professional and educational experiences along the way helped me realize my life’s work is meant to be with the whole family, in their homes and in the community.

I am a Certified Educator of Infant Massage (CEIM) through Infant Massage USA. Additionally, I am Perinatal Mental Health Certified (PMH-C) through Postpartum Support International. I am passionate about supporting new parents in understanding their postpartum mood experiences and connecting them to community supports as needed (such as mental health support, self care options, nutrition, etc.). Our Postpartum Mood Group is a great way to process the many mood changes that can come with parenthood and to surround yourself with a community of peer supports.

Nested Family Services has allowed me to bring all of my experience together into one role to support the most vulnerable-infants and their caregivers, during baby’s first year of life. I am so pleased to part of your nested community of care and I look forward to working with your family!
